Work with us

Just a sprinkle of AI.

For the work you're already doing.

We help small businesses, local shops, and one-person operations sprinkle a little AI on the work they already do — answering common questions, tagging inventory, sorting receipts, drafting replies, watching one competitor down the street. Small projects welcome. We're not trying to dominate your industry. We're trying to save you a few hours a week.

What we do

Small AI projects, mostly.

Most of what we do is small. A weekend script that saves a shop owner two hours a week. A one-day tool that makes a recurring task painless. A modest weekly digest. We also handle larger structured engagements when the fit is right. Here are a few shapes that come up often.

Common ask 01

A little workflow help

One small AI tool for one repeating task. The kind of thing where you mutter "there has to be a better way to do this" once a week. We build a tiny, durable script that fits your existing workflow — no new app to learn, no monthly subscription, no “platform.”

For example
  • Auto-draft replies to common quote / booking / FAQ emails
  • Tag inventory photos and write product descriptions
  • Sort receipts and pull totals from a folder of PDFs
  • Summarize a week of meeting notes into a one-page memo
  • Read a Google Sheet, flag the rows that need attention
  • A back-office helper for a one-person shop
Common ask 02

Watch one thing

Quietly keep an eye on something that matters to you. One competitor down the street, a regulator's filings, a city zoning board, a supplier's price list, someone else's ad activity in your category. Daily or weekly digest in plain English — only the things that actually changed.

For example
  • One competitor's website, menu, or hours
  • Local zoning / permit filings near your block
  • A supplier's prices or stock
  • Someone else's ad activity in your category
  • A regulator's docket for things that affect you
Common ask 03

A weekly intelligence brief

A structured weekly read on what's happening in your line of work — useful for shops that want to feel less behind without paying for an analyst. We ran one of these as a paid 30-day proof-of-concept — closed 2026-05-12, paid in full. The shape we landed on is in the notes link below.

For example
  • What's new in the local market this week
  • Things worth a closer look
  • A short suggested play, if there is one
  • Plain English; one page on Monday

None of these is the right shape? Tell us what would actually help and we'll figure it out together. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so — we'd rather send you somewhere better than waste your time.

How we work

How we try to be useful.

Small projects welcome

A weekend script is a real engagement. We don't have a minimum. If a one-day tool would save you a few hours a week, that's a good outcome and a good fit.

Plain English, please

We won't bury you in jargon. We'll explain what we built, why it works, and how to keep it working — in language anyone in your shop can follow. If we can't explain it simply, we probably built the wrong thing.

Your data, your machine

Where it makes sense, the tool runs on your hardware (a laptop, an iPad, a small box on a shelf), so your data stays put. When we run things on our hardware, we tell you exactly what crosses the wire and why.

One person on the other end

No account manager, no sales rep, no support tier. The same person writes the code, sends the email, and answers the question. If that's not your scale, that's fair — we'll tell you so.

Get in touch

Tell us what's eating your time.

One short paragraph is enough — what you do, what's annoying, what you wish were easier. No form, no calendar invite. Just an email. We usually reply within a day.
